JYSA is a volunteer led organization.

- Age Group Coordinators (AGC): Each age division is led by an AGC (U4, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16). AGC serves as a member of the Recreational Committee. They are responsible for sending communications to coaches of the assigned age group, forms teams, schedules games, distributes pictures, awards, and uniforms to coaches in their age group. Soccer experience is not required. Just the willingness to help organize and communicate information.
- Field Volunteers: Helping field coordinator with lining, repainting, and cleaning fields. Previous knowledge is not required. The Coordinator will help to provide the needed instruction. Volunteers will paint fields, pull trash cans down on trash night and put them back after pickup. Help pick up any trash or other debris on the premises.
- Experienced Field Maintenance Crew: Help with field maintenance: filling holes, reseeding, mowing, etc.. Can be during the season or during the off season. Must have knowledge and preferably have access to equipment.
- Coaches (Register during registration): Leads a team in a positive environment of having fun while learning soccer. No soccer experience necessary. Just a positive attitude and willingness to work with the players. You will coach your child's team. Holds team practices and coaches games on Saturdays. Communicates with families to provide information about practices, games, and other JYSA information.
- Assistant Coaches (Register during registration): No soccer experience necessary. Just a positive attitude and the willingness to work with players. Your child will be on your team. Assists the head coach with the team and communications. Run games/practices in Head coaches absence.
- Team Parents (Register during registration): Assists the coach with communications. Assists the coach with the players on the bench during games. Keeps track of game time for the coach when needed. Coordinates the end of the season celebration (each team does their own). Organize team snack schedule, etc..

* Most games are played Saturday mornings starting at 9am and going as late as needed into the afternoon to ensure each team gets field time.
*Coaches determine the practice schedule for their team, including: time, date, location, duration and frequency
* Coaches are asked to work around school events & sports when possible. When its not possible, the player is excused from that particular practice/ game.
*Once coaches have their rosters, they will notify players of their practice schedules.

July 1 - Registration Opens
August 18 - Registration Closes
August 21 - Coaches Meeting - Rosters & Jerseys distributed (U6 has not been distributed at this time)
August 22 - Coaches may begin scheduling practices
August 25 - Gear Swap Event (will begin accepting donations at 5:30pm)
August 28- Notify us at http://jessaminesoccer@gmail.com if you have not been contacted by your coach
September 2 - OPENING WEEKEND
September 9 - Picture Day
September 15 - Picture Day (ONLY for BRSL Teams)

WEATHER POLICIES
Be advised that JYSA WILL PLAY games in all weather types: rain, snow, sleet, etc.. No need to ask, we will inform you of any changes. If lightning strikes within 10 miles, all games are to be stopped immediately and all players, coaches, and spectators are to take shelter in their vehicles or another safe place. Games will be delayed for 30 minutes after the first lightning strike. The 30 minute delay will restart every time lightning strikes within 10 miles. If severe weather continues, games will be rescheduled. Games can be called last minute as weather is unpredictable. If you don't hear from a JYSA official, expect to play.
